This month we celebrate The Arts District of Atlantic City! The Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University invites you to join them for Second Friday. During this month’s Second Friday the African American Heritage Museum will hold their official opening for their latest exhibit, Black Mail. Local artists Allyson Block and Darya Hrybava will be on hand for the opening of their respective exhibits. As usual, there will be a DIY project where all ages can exercise their creativity. Light refreshments will be served and The Iron Room will conduct wine tasting, all while Jack Patch performs his Americana Folk music live for your listening pleasure.
While at the Arts Garage, you are encouraged to explore the new Arts Alley. Weather permitting, there will be live music and an interactive Arts Alley Mural project where you can express your own creativity. On the next corner, Mississippi & Arctic Avenues, next to Formica’s Bakery, is the latest ARTeriors exhibit sponsored by the Atlantic City Arts Foundation. ARTeriors is where you can explore the unique use of previously unused space now filled with art installations created by local artists while you enjoy the music of Jazz & Bubbles. There will be walking guides available to show you around the various events in the newly formed AC ARTS District.
