Opened in 1983, The Noyes Museum of Art was the vision of local entrepreneurs Fred W. and Ethel (Lingelbach) Noyes, Jr. who were avid art and antique collectors. Fred was also an academically trained artist and produced many works that reflect his love of southern New Jersey's natural features. His art and personal collection of vintage bird decoys are now a part of the Museum’s vast permanent collection of 19th to 21st century fine and folk art.
As the sole fine art museum in the region, The Noyes Museum maintains our founders’ dedication to preserving, highlighting, interpreting, and celebrating the arts. Currently, four galleries in the Noyes Museum change seasonally to present the finest contemporary and historic artwork in a variety of media. The Museum boasts a serene lakeside setting adjacent to the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge and is located minutes from downtown Atlantic City and dining and shopping at Historic Smithville Village.

Stockton University Collaborates with Noyes Museum of Art
In 2010, The Stockton University entered into a collaboration with the Noyes Museum of Art that is beneficial to students and enthusiasts of the arts, as well as the University, Museum and the entire southern New Jersey region. Stockton, with a longstanding commitment to the arts and humanities, provided significant renovations and upgrades to support an expanded array of educational opportunities, events, exhibits and performances at the nearby Noyes Museum. Stockton is home to one of the area’s top Performing Arts Center, and has its own art gallery; its Visual Arts program is also growing and a new Bachelor of Fine Arts degree has recently been added. Through Communications Studies, Historical Studies, Language and Culture Studies, Literature and Philosophy, Stockton is serving the Arts and Humanities in southern New Jersey. The partnership with the Noyes Museum is a natural extension of Stockton’s commitment to the area’s cultural scene.
Noyes Gallery at Seaview

The Noyes Gallery at Seaview Resort is located just moments down the road from The Noyes Museum of Art in Oceanville. This 2,500 sq. ft. satellite gallery highlights selections from the Noyes Museum's collection, and work by regional artists. The Noyes Gallery at Seaview is free and open daily to the public. It is located adjacent to the Golf Shop at Seaview Resort, (855) 894-8698.
The Noyes Museum Shop in Hammonton

The Noyes Museum of Art opened this satellite exhibition space in 2008 on South 2nd Street in Hammonton, NJ. The Noyes Museum Shop in Hammonton highlights and sells original artwork, fine jewelry, and ceramics by regional artists; it also offers premium custom framing. The space allows The Noyes to better serve the population in the western Atlantic, Burlington, Cumberland, Salem and Camden Counties.

The Noyes Gallery at Kramer Hall in Hammonton is the newest addition to the vibrant Arts District in Downtown Hammonton, and The Noyes Museum’s satellite exhibition spaces. The Noyes Gallery showcases artwork from both New Jersey artists and Stockton students, in exhibitions that change quarterly throughout the year.
The Noyes Arts Garage Stockton University

The Noyes Arts Garage Stockton University is the cornerstone of the new Arts District in Atlantic City with a mission to promote education, provide resources for emerging artists, and enrich the community. The Arts Garage houses 15 artist studios, galleries, shops, a café, a flexible classroom space, and hosts special events throughout the year. It includes a 1,200 square ft. satellite gallery of The Noyes Museum of Art, and is the new home of the African American Heritage Museum and Atlantic City Arts Center. Stroll through the galleries and shops, stop for a bite to eat at the Atlantic Café, and enjoy convenient parking in the heart of Atlantic City adjacent to Tanger Outlets, the Convention Center, Boardwalk Hall and Dante Hall Theater.
