The Noyes Museum of Stockton University invites the public to a gallery opening reception on at The Claridge in Atlantic City, NJ.
The Noyes Museum is proud to debut their newest satellite gallery location, located inside the historic Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City. With 20,000 square feet of space, the gallery has a museum-like atmosphere and an elegant aesthetic perfectly suited for the display of fine art.
The first exhibition christening the space is Virtual/Visual Contemporary Art Exhibition. It is a collection of complex artwork from a group of 30 artists with vastly different cultural backgrounds, yet with strong visual relationships. These works explore the many ways that imagery reflects life - whether reflecting our reality or disconnecting from it altogether. The images display the many ways that art can evoke a sense of fantasy parallel to actuality. With the power to heal and liberate, these images echo and validate our emotions.
At the opening reception for this exhibition, guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists and curator and engage with the artwork, while enjoying wine and cheese pairings. Following the opening reception is an after-party at The Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University, beginning at 6:45 pm.
