Join us to celebrate the release and signing of Tamu Lane's second published book, Finally Free. Coinciding with our regular Second Friday festivities, we will be hosting Ms. Lane so that you can discuss her powerful book with the author itself, and even buy a copy and have it signed.
Finally Free is Tamu's autobiography which travels through her tumultuous history of domestic violence, child sexual abuse, substance abuse and eating disorders. As it takes you through this journey, it provides an understanding of how she healed with the intention of guiding others through the same healing process.
Tamu Lane is a mother, wife, activist, artist, and writer. Aside from writing, she is employed as The Director of Social Justice Programming, a field she has graced with her talents for over a decade. Tamu is committed to education; she has a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, and works for Stockton University as a Trainer. Tamu is the CEO of Healing Wounds…Changing the Lives of Others in Camden County. Many years ago she had to come to terms with her past and heal so that she could help others - this led her to become a published author of her second book entitled, “Finally Free”.
