SCOSA: Corn Husk People Workshop

  • The Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University 30 Front Street Hammonton (map)

Location: Noyes Galleries at Kramer Hall

In collaboration with SCOSA, the Stockton Center on Successful Aging, this Second Wednesday in Hammonton we are hosting a Corn Husk People Art Activity! Corn Husk People were originally a Native American craft that was adapted by early Americans. They require dried corn husks, twine, and yarn to create figures. Boys and girls are welcome to create a corn husk person and experience what they would have played with more than 200 years ago!
