The Noyes Museum Gallery of Stockton University in Hammonton invites the public to view recent acquisitions to their collection by feminist artist Joan Arbeiter, displayed on the third floor of the building.
A free painting activity will be offered from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. utilizing the soak-stain method used by artist Helen Frankenthaler. Frankenthaler was one of the few female artists recognized during the Abstract Expressionism art movement, and her methods are credited for shifting the movement from largely action painting to Color Field painting.
