The Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University presents a group exhibition featuring local artists Joanne Coffman, Tim Faherty, and Marion Lotka.
Joanne Coffman (Egg Harbor Township, NJ)
After receiving her BA in Visual Arts from West Virginia University, Joanne migrated from her home state of WV to southern New Jersey. She has exhibited her art at the Ocean City Art Center, TLC, Shore Memorial Hospital, Nashville North Studio, Chora Leone Gallery, Virtua Hospital, Ocean City Fine Arts League, Jesse Creek Winery and Riverfront Renaissance. Professionally, Joanne is a realtor, who enjoys cooking, gardening, fishing, and most of all, her friends and family.
Tim Faherty (Ocean View, NJ)
Tim Faherty is a painter in love with the coast of southern New Jersey. Working in oil, acrylic and pastel, he tries to convey the life and light of this uniquely beautiful area. Whether reflecting the mystery and power of the ocean or the interplay between sky, marsh and back bay. For most of his career, Faherty was a journalist and graphic artist. His columns, graphics and illustrations for The Press of Atlantic City won many awards. His comic strip, “Just Add Walter,” was nationally syndicated by King Features. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Trenton State College, where he majored in English and minored in journalism and art.
Marion Lotka (Marmora, NJ)
Marion Lotka graduated from Philadelphia University and also studied at Philadelphia College of Art, Moore College of Art and Fleisher Art Memorial. As a New Jersey resident, she studied with Rita Michalenko, Andrea Sauchelli and currently teaches painting and design for the Cape May County Library. She is on the board of directors with Ocean City Fine Arts League, volunteers and exhibits at the Art On Asbury Gallery. Marion’s paintings have been purchased by Atlanticare and are part of the Healing Arts Program permanent installations. She is an Associate Member Artist with Riverfront Renaissance, a member of Society of New Jersey Artists and Ocean City Art Center. Her award-winning work has been exhibited in many solo and group shows in New Jersey.
