Songs of Freedom: Poetry Celebrating Juneteenth

In celebration of freedom and in recognition of the perseverance and spirit of Black people in America, Murphy Writing of Stockton University is hosting a special edition of World Above, the monthly open mic and featured reading series at the Noyes Arts Garage, on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, 7-9pm EST. Local poets will share poems that explore themes of cultural identity and inherited histories. Some of these poets will also be selling their books directly throughout the evening.
