Each session will begin with an educational session on the featured plant with expert guidance on how to grow it in our area. After this, we will do a guided art activity using the plant. Walk away with your finished art activity, as well as growing information on that week’s highlighted plant!  

These workshops are geared to all ages and abilities. The fee is $10 per attendee.  

On July 23rd, attendees will learn about growing hibiscus and butterfly pea, as well as ways to dry and use the plant for tea blends. Using Japanese shibori techniques, attendees will leave with their own bandana dyed with (fugitive) natural dyes.
