All are welcome to attend the opening reception for Christina Marie Klein and Christy Goodnight’s Documenting the Resilience on Atlantic Ave at the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University. This exhibition will be on display July 4 through September 24, 2026. This exhibition documents a pivotal moment in Atlantic City’s history, when the COVID-19 pandemic brought Atlantic Avenue—once a thriving center of commerce—to a standstill. Through photography and oral histories, the project captures closed storefronts alongside the voices of the business owners who endured the shutdown and navigated an uncertain future. Together, these images and stories reveal the resilience of small businesses and preserve a living record of survival, loss, and recovery along one of the city’s most storied streets.
