Join us for a one-of-a-kind Reading Rhythms party on March 29th at the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University! The community is invited to come together to read, connect, and share in community while surrounded by the creativity of local artists.
About the program:
Craft lovers, this one’s for you..
Grab your current read, your favorite snack, and join us for a reading party that's part cozy bookworm vibes, part creative craft station. We're celebrating National Crafting Month by combining our two favorite things: reading and making! Bring whatever book you're currently loving—memoir, fantasy, romance, thriller, poetry—and spend the evening reading, crafting, and connecting with fellow book lovers who also happen to love making things with their hands.
We'll have blocks of silent reading time (because there's nothing quite like the magic of reading alongside other people) with a curated playlist in the background. Between reading sessions, you'll have access to book-themed craft stations where you can make custom bookmarks! All supplies are provided. Then w will breakout in groups to chat about what we're reading, share our favorite craft projects, and maybe discover your next creative obsession or reading recommendations!
The night will also end with a free raffle!
*Free street parking is available, while paid parking in the WAVE Arts Garage is also available per your discretion.*
Event information:
Light refreshments will be available.
Parking: Pay for parking inside the WAVE Garage or enjoy free street parking in the Ducktown neighborhood.
About the program:
Reading Rhythms is a series of welcoming reading parties designed to make it easy for people to gather and read socially. In these events, participants are invited to bring any book you want and facilitate silent reading periods, as well as 1-on-1 breakouts, and group discussions to pull on the threads of the books that everyone is engaging with.
In a world that can often feel devoid of interest and meaningful connection, we bring readers together to reconnect with our love of learning, to experience the wonder of beautiful venues and curated music, and to gather amongst all of the people who want to be in that very same room.
