Celeste Casino is Stockton University Alumna with a B.F.A. in Visual Arts, class of 2024. In the Summer of 2024, Celeste completed her internship at the Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University, where she put her visual arts education to the test!
Over the summer she created and designed eight exhibition wall panels for our exhibition, Still Here: The Powhatan Renape and the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Nations of Southern New Jersey. Celeste’s work was featured in the gallery alongside art, clothing, and historical artifacts from two regional Indigenous tribes.
Throughout the internship, she worked on various graphic design projects for the Noyes. Another exciting project was designing a T-shirt for the museum’s gift shop. She was tasked with creating a shirt illustration based on the artwork of the museum's founder, Fred Noyes. Celeste was excited to see her work come to life and on display in the gift shop.
Recently, the Noyes Museum has commissioned Celeste to design a new set of wall panels for a new exhibit featuring the Alliance Colony. The exhibition is being installed at an old synagogue that is being converted into a museum. The public open house for this location is set for September 21.
